FAQ
Do you offer piercings?
No, unfortunately we do not offer piercings.
Can I get a tattoo while pregnant or breastfeeding?
No.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes we do.
What is your deposit policy?
All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE and will be applied towards the last session of your tattoo. If you need to reschedule your tattoo appointment, you must give at least 48 hours notice. You will forfeit your deposit if you fail to do so. If you do not show up to your tattoo appointment, you will lose your deposit. Any changes to the design is at the discretion of the artist to take an additional deposit
Do you tattoo minors?
This varies by artist, so you will need to make sure the artist you have in mind is willing to do so. To be tattooed as a minor, first you will need to get a notarized consent form that needs to be signed by a parent or legal guardian and notarized on the DAY OF your tattoo appointment. It is also required that we need a copy of the parents ID who is on the notary, a copy of the minors birth certificate and a government issued ID for the minor as well. If we do not have all of these documents we will not be able to tattoo you. Anyone under the age of 16 will not be tattooed even with parental consent.
Do I need an appointment?
We do accept walk-ins on a first come first serve basis. Some of our artists are appointment only so if you would like a specific artist we recommend calling the shop or contacting that artist directly.
What is the shop minimum?
The shop minimum is $100
Do you perform background checks on all employees prior to hiring?
Yes, a background check is mandatory prior to being hired at Fate and Fortune.
What are the shop regulations regarding COVID-19?
Masks are required at ALL TIMES while inside the studio. We also ask all of our clients to come to their appointments alone. Please refer to our COVID-19 section for more details.
Is getting a tattoo safe?
Yes! Our artists use the highest quality equipment, inks and needles. We are also an all disposable studio, meaning brand new supplies are used on each client and then disposed of immediately afterwards.
Covid Precautionary Measures
We are taking extra steps to ensure the safety of our artists and clients.
We use only HEPA filters in the studio.
Hand sanitizer is available throughout the shop for client use.
Please arrive at your appointment no earlier than 5 minutes prior.
All clients must be wearing a facial mask at all times while inside the studio.
All clients must come to their appointments alone, we are not able to accommodate any additional guests at this time.
Please refrain from booking if you or anyone you have been in contact with has any signs of illness or has been traveling within a two week period. If you have an appointment and are not feeling well, please reschedule your appointment.
